Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nat Munroe got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Nat Munroe managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 9th minute, Craig Lister fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Verne Newlyn, passed just outside the right post. In the 15th minute Stuart Talbot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zackary Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Kerr kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Uxbridge's Zackary Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stuart Talbot in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Albert Lilley notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Uxbridge's Zackary Roy. Zackary Roy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Stuart Talbot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zackary Roy was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. The Uxbridge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zackary Roy should have stopped the shot. Craig Lister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verne Newlyn having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nat Munroe in the 77th minute of play forced Islington United's goalkeeper Verne Newlyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Lilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stuart Talbot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Zackary Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Islington United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 93 minutes, Victor Kerr mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uxbridge and the Islington United players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Islington United booed when Uxbridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Kerr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stuart Talbot struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Zackary Roy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Islington United. Albert Lilley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Islington United's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
