Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) 4 minutes into the game, Jake Kyle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sebastien Dibb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastien Dibb was a little too slow when Jake Kyle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 2-0. Redruth Black's Noel Hitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Scorfield in the 25th minute of play. Sebastien Dibb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott Crabtree, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Hitchen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Scorfield in the 28th minute of play. Jake Kyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Crabtree struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sebastien Dibb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth Black. Kyle Scorfield's late challenge caught a Redruth Black's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyle Scorfield helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Farnworth's Kyle Scorfield got a free kick in the 39th minute. The long shot by Caleb Dlyan in the 43rd minute really tested Sebastien Dibb's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Farnworth's goalkeeper Sebastien Dibb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 56 played minutes Farnworth got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Scorfield. 58 minutes into the match, Farnworth's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Blasco came free, but Sebastien Dibb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastien Dibb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Beadel in the 60th minute of play. Sebastien Dibb didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Scott Crabtree went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the match, Redruth Black's goal looked a bit too open when Gareth Harris came free, but Noel Hitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastien Dibb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Thorne in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Les Haper in the 71st minute of play forced Redruth Black's goalkeeper Noel Hitchen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farnworth's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alf Ford in the 73rd minute. Alf Ford made a great header on Farnworth's corner, it was just that Redruth Black's Noel Hitchen managed to reach the ball for a save. Sebastien Dibb came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Redruth Black's Jake Kyle. But to his dismay, Jake Kyle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Scott Crabtree kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. If Jake Kyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caleb Dlyan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastien Dibb. Farnworth's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermegildo Blasco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastien Dibb having to make a save. Redruth Black's Scott Crabtree got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Redruth Black fans cheered their team off the field, for while Farnworth had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
