In the 24th minute, Otley's Keanu Blackley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benji Stone. Benji Stone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Keanu Blackleys short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Benji Stone to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kristopher Bannatyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keanu Blackley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benji Stone having to interfere. With a little luck, Holmer Green AFC's Benji Stone got control of the ball when Tod Folan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Tod Folan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otley's supporters rose to their feet, but Tod Folan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benji Stone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benji Stone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keanu Blackley in the 89th minute of the match. Holmer Green AFC's Kristopher Bannatyne got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 minutes, Kris Beale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otley and the Holmer Green AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
