The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cecilio Gaueko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sly Dlyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cecilio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the LECHIA GDANSK FCE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Gaueko couldn't finish the play. Marek Longthorn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jimmy Groom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Gaueko took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sly Dlyan. Sly Dlyan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Glenn Bourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sly Dlyan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cecilio Gaueko's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Jimmy Groom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Hanson in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, LECHIA GDANSK FCE's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Longthorn came free, but Jimmy Groom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sly Dlyan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Bourne in the 29th minute of play. Glenn Bourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Sly Dlyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glenn Bourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marek Longthorn was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Chris Hanson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmy Groom was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 56 played minutes Kendal City got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Crichton. 57 minutes into the match, Kendal City's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Bourne came free, but Sly Dlyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Glenn Bourne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cecilio Gaueko in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sly Dlyan saved Kendal City from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Gaueko in the 68th minute of play forced Kendal City's goalkeeper Sly Dlyan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vance Osmond charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vance Osmond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kendal City booed when LECHIA GDANSK FCE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vance Osmond didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Kendal City's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Gaueko came free, but Sly Dlyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LECHIA GDANSK FCE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Chris Hanson scored to the left of an out of position Jimmy Groom, making the score, 1-2. The LECHIA GDANSK FCE fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when LECHIA GDANSK FCE's Cecilio Gaueko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Matty Bensley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glenn Bourne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kendal City's Sly Dlyan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Gaueko in the 89th minute of play. Tod Dove hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marek Longthorn in the 96th minute of play forced LECHIA GDANSK FCE's goalkeeper Jimmy Groom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Kendal City players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented LECHIA GDANSK FCE from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
