In the 28th minute, Ollie Hardcastle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Oscar Talbot, passed just outside the right post. 29 minutes into the match, Marc Auty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Talbot. Eton United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marc Auty was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Ollie Hardcastle struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Oscar Talbot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for puye united. 36 minutes into the game, Ollie Hardcastle lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Oscar Talbot. Ollie Hardcastle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rick Coburn came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eton United's Sidney Christensen. But to his dismay, Sidney Christensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Marc Auty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Oscar Talbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Christensen made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Ollie Hardcastle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Talbot was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Oscar Talbot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Auty in the 79th minute of play. If Ollie Hardcastle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Talbot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Auty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Eton United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jools Dobson hit a great ball. Oscar Talbot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Hardcastle, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Dom Atkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. puye united fully deserved thier win.
