An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitch Pelc in the 7th minute of play forced Kings Lynn's goalkeeper Eric Burrows to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Pelc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Stonehouse booed when Kings Lynn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Small didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Kings Lynn getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Marcus Small hit a great ball. 17 minutes in the game, Mitch Pelc fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eric Burrows having to interfere. Mitch Pelc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Burrows read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mitch Pelc in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Burrows prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Mitch Pelc took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Eric Burrows to make any attempt to save it. 23 minutes into the match, Kings Lynn's goal looked a bit too open when Zackary Blewitt came free, but Eric Burrows reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Kings Lynn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ollie Bridgewater to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Mitch Pelc left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stonehouse fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Myers during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Kings Lynn getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Daniel Myers hit a great ball. Stonehouse's Rupert Brearley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camron Cheeseman in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Steven Chiverton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Mitch Pelc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 43 minutes, Glenn May managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stonehouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Glenn May was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Callum Mills recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
In the 52nd minute, Mitch Pelc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Callum Mills fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Burrows having to interfere. Callum Mills sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Kings Lynn getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Daniel Myers hit a great ball. When Richard Beavan came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Stonehouse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Beavan couldn't finish the play. Stonehouse's Richard Beavan got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mitch Pelc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Burrows having to interfere. Rupert Brearley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steven Chiverton in the 72nd minute of the match. Eric Burrows made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Ekain in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Marcus Small hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kings Lynn's zone, Callum Mills stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Burrows came out of the goal and Callum Mills tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octavio Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eric Burrows tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Callum Mills had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eric Burrows. Kings Lynn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Callum Mills was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Glenn May fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Burrows having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Kings Lynn's goal looked a bit too open when Callum Mills came free, but Eric Burrows reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stonehouse's Rupert Brearley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Stonehouse from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the game, Callum Mills cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Eric Burrows was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stonehouse's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
