Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gwyn Kitchen made the kick off which started today's match. Ronnie Bayne's late challenge caught a Central London United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronnie Bayne helped the player get up and apologised. Ronnie Bayne kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Central London United's Keanu Lambourne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwyn Kitchen in the 10th minute of play. If Billy Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwyn Kitchen in the 13th minute of play forced Central London United's goalkeeper Keanu Lambourne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Central London United getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Scott Clark hit a great ball. After 20 minutes of play, Whickham's Billy Duggan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keanu Lambourne was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 24 minutes, Billy Duggan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whickham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Duggan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Billy Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Francis Swinscoe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Central London United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whickham the free kick. After a rather tough play, Central London United's Francis Swinscoe got a free kick in the 28th minute. Gwyn Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Gill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Locking, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Whickham getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Ronnie Bayne hit a great ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Damien Locking managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Central London United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damien Locking was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Chip Wring came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Central London United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chip Wring couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gwyn Kitchen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keanu Lambourne. That made the score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chip Wring to make the kick off. The supporters of Central London United booed when Whickham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seb Garforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Whickham's Billy Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Duggan in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keanu Lambourne saved Central London United from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Billy Duggan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keanu Lambourne was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 66 minutes into the game, Whickham's Billy Duggan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keanu Lambourne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 69th minute, Damien Locking made a precise shot to the right of Kris Gill. Whickham's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Keanu Lambourne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Keanu Lambourne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwyn Kitchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Seb Garforth shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Keanu Lambourne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Ronnie Bayne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Keanu Lambourne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Whickham's Gwyn Kitchen got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gwyn Kitchen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keanu Lambourne having to make a save. 97 minutes into the match, Central London United's goal looked a bit too open when Gwyn Kitchen came free, but Keanu Lambourne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Whickham players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
