Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Damien McCartney took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Stock's goalkeeper Garry Moyle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barrie Holloway. In the 5th minute, Ashley Miles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Stock's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Constantine came free, but Garry Moyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Damien McCartney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rufus Johnston in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ian Parry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Garry Moyle managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Southall City's Barrie Holloway fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alf Townson kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Lucas Constantine in the 29th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Garry Moyle kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Barrie Holloway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron Reed kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Stock's Damien McCartney nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ian Parry made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Stock's Joey Kendall got a free kick in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Constantine made a kick off. Garry Moyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Constantine, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Stock's zone, Lucas Constantine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry Moyle came out of the goal and Lucas Constantine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Lucas Constantine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stock's Garry Moyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Garry Moyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barrie Holloway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucas Constantine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gordon Gregory took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Garry Moyle. Stock's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 75th minute Lucas Constantine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Moyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufus Johnston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ian Parry made a huge save. Southall City's Barrie Holloway got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garry Moyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barrie Holloway in the 86th minute of the match. Lucas Constantine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
