Frankie Jeffrey started the match with the kick off. Jeremy Hewitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Constantine in the 5th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shaldon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute, Barrie Holloway left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Southall City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, Ashley Miles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southall City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shaldon the free kick. Jeremy Hewitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barrie Holloway's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Southall City's Ian Parry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frankie Jeffrey in the 21st minute of play. When Barrie Holloway came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Southall City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barrie Holloway couldn't finish the play. If Lucas Constantine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremy Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Constantine in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Southall City getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Lucas Constantine hit a great ball. Lucas Constantine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jeremy Hewitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shaldon's Jeremy Hewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Constantine in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lucas Constantine managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southall City's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Constantine was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Hewitt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Lucas Constantine made the kick off in the second half. Lucas Constantine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jeremy Hewitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Shaldon's zone, Barrie Holloway stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Hewitt came out of the goal and Barrie Holloway tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shaldon's Jeremy Hewitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Constantine in the 66th minute of play. Jonathon Merrill's late challenge caught a Southall City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathon Merrill helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Jonathon Merrill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lucas Constantine came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Southall City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Constantine couldn't finish the play. Lucas Constantine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Hewitt having to interfere. Shaldon's Jeremy Hewitt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Shaldon from getting a goal against them. In the 78thth minute of the game Lucas Constantine who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shaldon's Jeremy Hewitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 82nd minute, Barrie Holloway got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Connor Selby succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 88 minutes into the game, Lawrence Thurman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southall City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shaldon the free kick. After 88 played minutes Southall City got a freekick which was hit by Lawrence Thurman. In the 90th minute, Frankie Jeffrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Connor Selby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shaldon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 99th minute, when Ashley Miles scored to the left of an out of position Jeremy Hewitt, making the score, 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Southall City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Shaldon.
