Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edward Teague kicked off to start the match. Lancaster's Grant Adcock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Walls in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Purbrook's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Hardy came free, but Laurence Notley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 played minutes Lancaster got a freekick which was hit by Connor Roebuck. After 10 minutes, Lance Warner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purbrook and the Lancaster players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lance Warner kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Lancaster's Bobby Dove couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Purbrook. The audience was convinced that Edward Teague's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grant Adcock was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 18th minute, Edward Teague made a precise shot to the right of Grant Adcock. Lancaster's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Purbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Walls to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute Jeff Hardy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Notley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Adcock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zack Ashby, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Connor Roebuck got free with Laurence Notley in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Connor Roebucks short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Laurence Notley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute, Connor Roebuck made a precise shot to the right of Laurence Notley. Purbrook's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeff Hardy made a kick off. Zack Ashby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Grant Adcock tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Zack Ashby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Jeff Hardy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lancaster's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeff Hardy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laurence Notley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Devon Beavan's late challenge caught a Lancaster's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Devon Beavan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Purbrook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Devon Beavan to maneuver through the defense. Connor Roebuck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lancaster's Jeff Hardy got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Jeff Hardy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurence Notley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Hardy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Laurence Notley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeff Hardy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurence Notley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Teague in the 87th minute of play forced Lancaster's goalkeeper Grant Adcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Zack Ashby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grant Adcock. Lancaster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zack Ashby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Edward Teague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Adcock having to interfere.
