Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Greenwich FC's Cody Rawlings started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Freddy Clarkson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 6th minute Ritchie Penn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Brook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Pinder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Byron Halford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Cody Rawlings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Byron Halford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Cody Rawlings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Halford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byron Halford showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cody Rawlings, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Carlin How AFC defense, Theo Pinder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Halford. The Carlin How AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Halford should have stopped the shot. Frank Brook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ritchie Penn in the 33rd minute of play. John Turnbull who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Frank Brook when he managed to save the team from getting behind. John Turnbull recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Byron Halford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Pinder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Theo Pinder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Carlin How AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Greenwich FC were winning 0-1.

Cody Rawlings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristopher Elwick hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Carlin How AFC's Ritchie Penn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Brook narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Turnbull in the 76th minute of play forced Greenwich FC's goalkeeper Frank Brook to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritchie Penn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Brook having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theo Pinder got free with Byron Halford in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Ritchie Penn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Theo Pinder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Byron Halford made a huge save. In the 97th minute Cody Rawlings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Halford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Carlin How AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Greenwich FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Greenwich FC.
