Birmingham Selly Oak
Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000,
Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Zak Toulson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Birmingham Selly Oak getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Kev Nethercoat hit a great ball. If Zak Toulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kev Nethercoat hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Zak Toulson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester United Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Zak Toulson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vern Devine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 17th minute, Birmingham Selly Oak's Shane Harding ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Blair Mulford. Blair Mulford yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Henry Croxford could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Blair Mulford made a huge save. Zak Toulson took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vern Devine. Vern Devine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Louis Neville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennie Lincoln during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Birmingham Selly Oak getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lennie Lincoln hit a great ball. Zak Toulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vern Devine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Birmingham Selly Oak's Vern Devine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Stevens in the 36th minute of play. If Fabian Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Louis Neville to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Birmingham Selly Oak's Henry Croxford made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blair Mulford was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Manchester United Fc defense, Louis Neville kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blair Mulford. The Manchester United Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blair Mulford should have stopped the shot. Manchester United Fc's Blair Mulford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kev Nethercoat in the 61st minute of play. Kev Nethercoat hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Kev Nethercoat notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Manchester United Fc's Blair Mulford. Blair Mulford was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Croxford in the 72nd minute of play forced Manchester United Fc's goalkeeper Blair Mulford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blair Mulford came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Birmingham Selly Oak's Louis Neville. But to his dismay, Louis Neville quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 78 minutes into the game, Birmingham Selly Oak's Henry Croxford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blair Mulford made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Blair Mulford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Croxford in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Louis Neville left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Birmingham Selly Oak fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Fabian Stevens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zak Toulson in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vern Devine prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 97 minutes into the match, Zak Toulson notched a goal, 7-2, to the right of Birmingham Selly Oak's Vern Devine. Vern Devine was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Birmingham Selly Oak players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
