The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luke Deaconsfield made a kick off. The supporters of Lancing AFC booed when Wroxham AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gwyn Davey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brad Cavanagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Wroxham AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Lagdon. Wroxham AFC's Tommy Speight played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luke Deaconsfield in the 95th minute of play. Tommy Speight came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Lancing AFC's Brad Cavanagh. But to his dismay, Brad Cavanagh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
