Spectators: 6691 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Toby Jackson took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Luke Deaconsfield came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Lancing AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luke Deaconsfield couldn't finish the play. If Brad Cavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Derek Ellershaw fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Country FC's protests and gave Derek Ellershaw a yellow card for diving instead. Derek Ellershaw hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Luke Deaconsfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Brad Cavanagh fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jasper Carragher, passed just outside the right post. Brad Cavanagh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brad Cavanagh struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jasper Carragher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lancing AFC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seth Warne during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Phillip Delamore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Black Country FC booed when Lancing AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Cousens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Black Country FC's Rueben Hartley tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Toby Jackson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lancing AFC's Pedro Courtney. Pedro Courtney was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Mulford in the 35th minute of play forced Lancing AFC's goalkeeper Pedro Courtney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lancing AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joel Cousens hit a great ball. If Ron Mulford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Marler kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute, Brad Cavanagh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Black Country FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luke Deaconsfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luke Deaconsfield struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Jasper Carragher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lancing AFC. Jasper Carragher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Deaconsfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Deaconsfield in the 74th minute of play forced Black Country FC's goalkeeper Jasper Carragher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Mulford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Dom Lonsdale fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Country FC's protests and gave Dom Lonsdale a yellow card for diving instead. Dom Lonsdale hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Phillip Delamore in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jasper Carragher's left hand side. Black Country FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lancing AFC had controlled the match.
