Spectators: 7419 (Terracing: 5565, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Trev Saville got the match started through his kick off. AFC Riverdene's Trev Saville got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the AFC Riverdene defense, Robert Ridsdale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Perry Thomas. The AFC Riverdene fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Perry Thomas should have stopped the shot. Lee Kemp hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Mattias Croxford sped through AFC Riverdene's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perry Thomas. Connor Buxton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trev Saville in the 23rd minute of the match. A collision led to Teignmouth getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Benji Peakman hit a great ball. AFC Riverdene's Tommy Henman managed to work through Teignmouth's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tommy Henman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Ridsdale in the 29th minute of play forced AFC Riverdene's goalkeeper Perry Thomas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trev Saville in the 41st minute of play forced Teignmouth's goalkeeper Connor Buxton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Croxford kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Trev Saville recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute, Robert Ridsdale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Ridsdale to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Ridsdale received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Perry Thomas came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Ridsdale slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 65th minute. After 69 minutes, Wesley Whittaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC Riverdene and the Teignmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Robert Ridsdale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Ridsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Teignmouth booed when AFC Riverdene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Atkinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattias Croxford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Perry Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Teignmouth! Connor Buxton came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Riverdene's Tommy Henman. But to his dismay, Tommy Henman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. 98 minutes into the match, Teignmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Henman came free, but Connor Buxton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teignmouth's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
