Bradley Furniss started the match with the kick off. In the 4th match minute, Peckham Plonkers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Travis Brooks to maneuver through the defense. Gerry Gascoigne hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Greg McKeown blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basil Coyle having to make a save. Basil Coyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaz Akins's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Chaz Akins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barnsley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peckham Plonkers the free kick. The supporters of Peckham Plonkers booed when Barnsley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaz Akins didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Barnsley getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Chaz Akins hit a great ball. In the 19th minute Daniel Patten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Coyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chaz Akins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basil Coyle was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Daniel Patten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Travis Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dean Barone came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Peckham Plonkers's Travis Brooks. But to his dismay, Travis Brooks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Daniel Patten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vernon Toovey's late challenge caught a Barnsley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vernon Toovey helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Peckham Plonkers's Vernon Toovey got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Chaz Akins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barnsley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Neil Bannatyne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

52 minutes into the match, Barnsley's Chaz Akins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil Coyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rex Hamer kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Daniel Patten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Basil Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes in the game, Daniel Patten fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Basil Coyle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chaz Akins in the 65th minute of play forced Peckham Plonkers's goalkeeper Basil Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Barnsley's Chaz Akins in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peckham Plonkers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute, Barnsley's Chaz Akins ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basil Coyle. After a rather tough play, Barnsley's Benjamin Morgan got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Peckham Plonkers's goal looked a bit too open when Chaz Akins came free, but Basil Coyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Barnsley's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Furniss came free, but Dean Barone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Barnsley's Basil Coyle threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chaz Akins, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Basil Coyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chaz Akins, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle sounded Barnsley left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Peckham Plonkers.
