The audience was convinced that Rufus Pelc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but CJ Trunks was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Loyd Preece hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Onesti's Joshua Dalton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Onesti from getting a goal against them. In the 85th match minute, Altrincham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Fenton to maneuver through the defense.
