The audience thought a goal was coming when Loyd Shields got free with Sebastien Cooke in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loyd Shields could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Sebastien Cooke made a huge save. Loyd Shields took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastien Cooke. Sebastien Cooke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Olly Braithwaite kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Andre Ealham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Ealham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Seb Daly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, Loyd Shields had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastien Cooke. Chelsea F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loyd Shields was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Lance Burrows fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Comberton City's protests and gave Lance Burrows a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Lance Burrows hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olly Braithwaite's late challenge caught a Chelsea F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olly Braithwaite helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Chelsea F.C. booed when Comberton City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olly Braithwaite didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Andre Ealham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Andre Ealham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnathon Bambrook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Seb Daly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 38 minutes Chelsea F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bradley Thompson who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 40 minutes, Loyd Shields managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Comberton City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Loyd Shields was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Johnathon Bambrook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seb Daly was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Johnathon Bambrook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Seb Daly tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

If Allan Leather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loyd Shields recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea F.C.'s goalkeeper Sebastien Cooke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Clive Little recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Seb Daly. Clive Little showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Johnathon Bambrook's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Seb Daly firmly grabbed it by the left post. Andre Ealham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnathon Bambrook fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seb Daly having to interfere. Seb Daly made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnathon Bambrook in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Comberton City's goalkeeper Seb Daly had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnathon Bambrook. In the 88th minute, Lance Burrows hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johnathon Bambrook struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Seb Daly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea F.C.. In the 92nd minute, Andre Ealham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
