When Sean Gulliver came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Coleford fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sean Gulliver couldn't finish the play. Garry Moody made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camron Whittaker in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Rawmarsh AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Gulliver came free, but Garry Moody reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Gulliver in the 19th minute of play forced Rawmarsh AFC's goalkeeper Garry Moody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Denzil Wadham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antony Bambrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garry Moody came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Coleford's Samuel Sweeney. But to his dismay, Samuel Sweeney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Eric Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes in the game, Rory Glanvill fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Antony Bambrook having to interfere. When Sean Gulliver came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Coleford fans jumped to their feet. Denzil Wadham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sean Gulliver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Sweeney in the 45th minute of play forced Rawmarsh AFC's goalkeeper Garry Moody to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denzil Wadham was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Rory Glanvill managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rawmarsh AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory Glanvill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antony Bambrook breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denzil Wadham took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antony Bambrook. Antony Bambrook dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Samuel Sweeney put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Garry Moody. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Sean Gulliver managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coleford's supporters rose to their feet, but Sean Gulliver was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garry Moody breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Coleford's Byron Hudson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. If Denzil Wadham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Coleford's goal looked a bit too open when Denzil Wadham came free, but Antony Bambrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Denzil Wadham had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antony Bambrook. Coleford's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denzil Wadham was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. The Coleford players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
