Spectators: 7357 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) St Neots's Paul Hilton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in St Neots's zone, Casimiro Weather stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wes Dryden came out of the goal and Casimiro Weather tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Casimiro Weather came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the CKS Czeladz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Weather couldn't finish the play. After 5 played minutes St Neots got a freekick which was hit by Adam Daly. If Casimiro Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Casimiro Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Russ Coburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Flynn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, St Neots's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Weather came free, but Wes Dryden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Stu Coulshaw got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, David Bray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blair Swinscoe kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Darren Peake recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shawn Flynn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Hilton in the 24th minute of play. Wes Dryden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Bray, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. CKS Czeladz's Casimiro Weather got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 minutes, Shane Wray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CKS Czeladz and the St Neots players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, CKS Czeladz's Shane Wray got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, David Bray got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, David Bray managed to get in a good position for a shot. CKS Czeladz's supporters rose to their feet, but David Bray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Dryden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Bray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Casimiro Weather made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Darren Peake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shawn Flynn. CKS Czeladz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Darren Peake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to CKS Czeladz getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Irinel Tănăsie hit a great ball. CKS Czeladz's Shawn Flynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save CKS Czeladz from getting a goal against them. If Casimiro Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind St Neots's goalkeeper Wes Dryden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Casimiro Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shane Wray struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Wes Dryden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CKS Czeladz. A collision led to CKS Czeladz getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Irinel Tănăsie hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, CKS Czeladz's Casimiro Weather got a free kick in the 73rd minute. David Bray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stu Coulshaw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Dryden having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, David Bray had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wes Dryden. St Neots's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Bray was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. CKS Czeladz's Irinel Tănăsie got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CKS Czeladz's Shawn Flynn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save CKS Czeladz from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the CKS Czeladz players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
