In the 9th minute, Mick Land hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cody Grayson came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the NORTHOLT FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cody Grayson couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhys Markinson in the 25th minute of play forced Maylandsea's goalkeeper Casey Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon Glasby charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Glasby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th minute, Jon Glasby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calum Doughty hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Austen Nevin put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Maylandsea booed when NORTHOLT FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Austen Nevin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grant Milligan kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Cody Grayson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Casey Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Wally Lister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Maylandsea's zone, Cody Grayson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casey Hunt came out of the goal and Cody Grayson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Dane Pye-Finch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Hunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Julian Platt charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Platt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Maylandsea got a freekick which was hit by Julian Platt. Casey Hunt came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by NORTHOLT FC's Cody Grayson. But to his dismay, Cody Grayson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Maylandsea's Calum Doughty collided with an opponent after 59 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicky Easter during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, NORTHOLT FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicky Easter to maneuver through the defense. Maylandsea's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Cody Grayson scored to the left of an out of position Casey Hunt, making the score, 1-2. 72 minutes into the match, Nial Morgan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Casey Hunt, 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, NORTHOLT FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Glasby came free, but CJ Caine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CJ Caine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Glasby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Cody Grayson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Casey Hunt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cody Grayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Hunt having to interfere. NORTHOLT FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
