Spectators: 7465 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Al Harban started the match with the kick off. The Brentwood City fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Brentwood City's Olívio Faria looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Barnham FC's Ronnie Shaw got a free kick in the 8th minute. The supporters of Barnham FC booed when Brentwood City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Micheal Robinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Barnham FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ronnie Shaw hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Grant Lumb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Peter Rigg's late challenge caught a Brentwood City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Rigg helped the player get up and apologised. After 16 played minutes Barnham FC got a freekick which was hit by Peter Rigg. Olívio Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Grigg having to interfere. Dominik Grigg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Lumb in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Brentwood City's goalkeeper Lewis Lawton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivor Clarke. Dominik Grigg came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brentwood City's Olívio Faria. But to his dismay, Olívio Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Al Harban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewis Lawton having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Al Harban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Harban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Olívio Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dominik Grigg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Al Harban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th match minute, Brentwood City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Micheal Robinson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Faria in the 37th minute of play forced Barnham FC's goalkeeper Dominik Grigg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Olívio Faria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominik Grigg was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Olívio Faria put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dominik Grigg. After a defensive mix-up in Barnham FC's zone, Olívio Faria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Grigg came out of the goal and Olívio Faria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olívio Faria made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olívio Faria in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Grigg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Brentwood City's Dominik Grigg threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olívio Faria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lewis Lawton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Harban in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Brentwood City's goal looked a bit too open when Ivor Clarke came free, but Lewis Lawton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Olívio Faria made a precise shot to the right of Dominik Grigg. Barnham FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 64 minutes into the match, Al Harban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lewis Lawton. Brentwood City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Harban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Dominik Grigg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute of the match Brentwood City got a corner. Barnham FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Perry Broom ran over to the corner to take the kick. Olívio Farias short, quick shot in the 78thth minute got Dominik Grigg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Barnham FC booed when Brentwood City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pat Burgess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grant Lumb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Dominik Grigg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Ivor Clarke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olívio Faria in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Grigg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Al Harban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lewis Lawton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grant Lumb received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dominik Grigg came out and tried to block the shot, but Grant Lumb slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 91st minute. Rio Fitzgerald's late challenge caught a Brentwood City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rio Fitzgerald helped the player get up and apologised. When Brentwood City's Olívio Faria in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barnham FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle sounded Brentwood City left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barnham FC.
