Guilherme Velloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Dodge City's Blair Rocastle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Dodge City from getting a goal against them. Guilherme Velloso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Blair Rocastle made a huge save. A collision led to Dodge City getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Keiran Basterfield hit a great ball. Guilherme Velloso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Blair Rocastle skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, Rodney Stockton notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Black Swans's Pete Sawyer. Pete Sawyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pete Sawyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Qvarnström in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mikael Qvarnström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Mikael Qvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dodge City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Qvarnström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blair Rocastle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Mikael Qvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Swans's Pete Sawyer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Blair Rocastle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Urban in the 68th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Guilherme Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blair Rocastle was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Blair Rocastle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Best in the 81st minute of play. Pete Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Qvarnström, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Guilherme Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blair Rocastle was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. 87 minutes into the game, Mikael Qvarnström lined in a short shot 6-2 behind a frustrated Pete Sawyer. Mikael Qvarnström charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Qvarnström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Mikael Qvarnström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blair Rocastle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Velloso in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
