Rich Beadle charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rich Beadle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Princes Risborough got a freekick which was hit by Rich Beadle. If Ashley Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ashley Lucas in the 21st minute of play forced Princes Risborough's goalkeeper Jeff Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Rich Beadle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes Dion Evans shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Princes Risborough's Jeff Bartlett to catch but Dion Evans was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Iain Oatway fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Bartlett having to interfere. Jeff Bartlett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jeff Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Chadwick in the 39th minute of play. Rufus Chadwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Bartlett having to interfere. Jeff Bartlett came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Droylsden United's Ashley Lucas. But to his dismay, Ashley Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jeff Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashley Lucas in the 49th minute of play. The Princes Risborough players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Droylsden United were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronan Broom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ashley Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, one of Droylsden United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Des Jenkinson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronan Broom in the 60th minute of play forced Droylsden United's goalkeeper Reggie Gavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyler Nevin hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Rufus Chadwick struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Jeff Bartlett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Droylsden United. If Benjamin Tucker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufus Chadwick in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Princes Risborough getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ronan Broom hit a great ball. Reggie Gavan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Broom in the 86th minute of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Benjamin Tucker sped through Droylsden United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reggie Gavan. After having played for 95 minutes, Ronan Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Princes Risborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronan Broom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Will Westlake kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. With a little luck, Princes Risborough's Jeff Bartlett got control of the ball when Ashley Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line.
