Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mike Jackson started the match with the kick off. When Zaq Brindley came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Curdridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zaq Brindley couldn't finish the play. If Callum Wakefield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Al Timiney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denzil Booth in the 23rd minute of play. Curdridge's Al Timiney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Pilkington in the 26th minute of play. Callum Wakefield did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Shaun Medlin 27 minutes into the match. Reuben Woodhead kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Tyler Armstrong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 played minutes Curdridge got a freekick which was hit by Callum Wakefield. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denzil Booth in the 41st minute of play forced Curdridge's goalkeeper Al Timiney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Justin Harkin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Al Timiney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Skipton AFC booed when Curdridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tyler Armstrong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al Timiney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denzil Booth in the 49th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Al Timiney made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Rupert Downs sent off a good shot on target. Callum Wakefield struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Shaun Medlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curdridge. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Callum Wakefield in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaun Medlin saved Skipton AFC from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Reuben Woodhead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Callum Wakefield in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shaun Medlin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Curdridge's Zaq Brindley got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Callum Wakefield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes, Skipton AFC's Devon Bartrup shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Al Timiney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skipton AFC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Callum Wakefield in the 68th minute of play forced Skipton AFC's goalkeeper Shaun Medlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Skipton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justin Harkin to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Huey Miller shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Skipton AFC's Shaun Medlin to catch but Huey Miller was lucky. It became 4-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Zaq Brindley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Curdridge booed when Skipton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurence Caine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Curdridge made a substitution. Dom Southgate replaced Zaq Brindley. A collision led to Skipton AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Laurence Caine hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Skipton AFC defense, Callum Wakefield kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Shaun Medlin. The Skipton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Shaun Medlin should have stopped the shot. After 96 minutes, Justin Harkin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skipton AFC and the Curdridge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justin Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Callum Wakefield in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Shaun Medlin saved Skipton AFC from getting behind.
