Robin Eagles started the match with the kick off. If Tristram Pilkington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristram Pilkington's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Dylan McMahon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Whickham AFC's Tristram Pilkington got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Whickham AFC's Kristian Connor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dylan McMahon. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Tristram Pilkington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan McMahon having to interfere. Kristian Connor took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylan McMahon. Dylan McMahon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Kristian Connor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Dylan McMahon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Richie Weatherhead kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Tristram Pilkington shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Dylan McMahon and just under the crossbar into goal. Tristram Pilkington scored 4-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan McMahon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tristram Pilkington struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Dylan McMahon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whickham AFC. When Freddie Fletcher fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Otterham City's protests and gave Freddie Fletcher a yellow card for diving instead. Tristram Pilkington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan McMahon having to interfere. Tristram Pilkington in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dylan McMahon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Otterham City's Dylan McMahon got control of the ball when Tristram Pilkington tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristram Pilkington was the one to do the kick off. Tristram Pilkington struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dylan McMahon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whickham AFC. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Kristian Connor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whickham AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristian Connor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan McMahon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the game, Robin Eagles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otterham City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whickham AFC the free kick. Robin Eagles kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Kristian Connor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan McMahon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Whickham AFC's zone, Robin Eagles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Bridgewater came out of the goal and Robin Eagles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tristram Pilkington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan McMahon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tristram Pilkington in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan McMahon saved Otterham City from getting behind. Kristian Connor struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dylan McMahon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whickham AFC. After a rather tough play, Whickham AFC's Rory Phelps got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Les Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Otterham City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Fletcher to maneuver through the defense. When Les Ward came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Whickham AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Les Ward couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Rory Phelps hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Bridgewater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robin Eagles in the 92nd minute of the match. Otterham City's Dylan McMahon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tristram Pilkington in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Otterham City getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Richie Weatherhead hit a great ball.
