Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stew Sharples in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristram Townsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlton Darling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iain Mansfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dave Clayton kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Fraser Bramhall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristram Townsley having to interfere. Carlton Darling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iain Mansfield in the 16th minute of the match. Cookham FC's Carlton Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iain Mansfield in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Carlisle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nat Steadman to maneuver through the defense. When Nat Steadman fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carlisle's protests and gave Nat Steadman a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carlisle getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nat Steadman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carlisle's zone, Fraser Bramhall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristram Townsley came out of the goal and Fraser Bramhall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Cookham FC's Fraser Bramhall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tristram Townsley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iain Mansfield kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

After a rather tough play, Cookham FC's Roy Clark got a free kick in the 51st minute. Stew Sharples sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th match minute, Carlisle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rio Fleming to maneuver through the defense. If Fraser Bramhall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute Stew Sharples shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristram Townsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Barltrop in the 61st minute of play forced Cookham FC's goalkeeper Carlton Darling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fraser Bramhall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Cookham FC's Fraser Bramhall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Fraser Bramhall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Simpson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Nicholas Barltrop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlton Darling having to interfere. Cookham FC's Allan Beckett was substituted for Dominik Brimble. Stew Sharples's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristram Townsley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play.
