Spike Griggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Adcock in the 16th minute of the match. Rio Jepson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ty Mitchell-King, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 38th minute, Louis Adcock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stefan Barber during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tintagel City's Stefan Barber got a free kick in the 41st minute. 44 minutes into the game, Stuart Crooks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tintagel City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fletching City the free kick. When Philip Widdrington came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Tintagel City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philip Widdrington couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Philip Widdrington rounded Fletching City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. Tintagel City's Spike Griggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Adcock in the 64th minute of play. Spike Griggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denzil Sharpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ty Mitchell-King got free with Rio Jepson in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Spike Griggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fletching City. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Louis Adcock sped through Tintagel City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Spike Griggs. After a defensive mix-up in Fletching City's zone, Ty Mitchell-King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rio Jepson came out of the goal and Ty Mitchell-King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tintagel City's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
