Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stew Bullard started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Louis Adcock in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leroy Hendley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 14 minutes into the match, Fletching City's goal looked a bit too open when Stew Bullard came free, but Rio Jepson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leroy Hendley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis Adcock in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Denzil Sharpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fletching City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prudhoe United the free kick. A collision led to Fletching City getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Denzil Sharpe hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Stew Bullard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stew Bullard in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rio Jepson saved Fletching City from getting behind. If Louis Adcock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denzil Sharpe struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Leroy Hendley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fletching City. Timothy Mumford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rio Jepson having to interfere. After 35 minutes of play, Fletching City's Louis Adcock made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leroy Hendley was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Fletching City's zone, Timothy Mumford stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rio Jepson came out of the goal and Timothy Mumford tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timothy Mumford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rio Jepson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Adcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leroy Hendley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Louis Adcock to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Owen Weatherhead cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rio Jepson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denzil Sharpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Denzil Sharpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fletching City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Stew Bullard scored 3-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rio Jepson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Prudhoe United booed when Fletching City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denzil Sharpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leroy Hendley didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 3-3. Leroy Hendley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis Adcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Louis Adcock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leroy Hendley. The goal made the score 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
