Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Victor Boyle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Dylan Walker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Partington's Orson Parkinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richings Park FC's Bobby Craven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaq Mitchell in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Richings Park FC's Nicky Fleming got a free kick in the 19th minute. Zaq Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylan Walker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orson Parkinson having to make a save. Zaq Mitchell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bobby Craven having to interfere. Bobby Craven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaq Mitchell's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Partington was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Denham to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Newland got free with Orson Parkinson in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brian Newland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Orson Parkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaq Mitchell made a kick off. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richings Park FC's goalkeeper Bobby Craven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dylan Walker hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Zaq Mitchell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 67 played minutes Partington got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Callery. In the 68th minute of the match Noel Blewett shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orson Parkinson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dylan Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Brian Newland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Richings Park FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Newland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orson Parkinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orson Parkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Boyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Brian Newland came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Richings Park FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Newland couldn't finish the play. Partington's Orson Parkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Boyle in the 81st minute of play. Zaq Mitchell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Richings Park FC's Duncan Sheehan got a free kick in the 88th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Richings Park FC's Brian Newland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orson Parkinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Partington got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Callery. In the 95th minute, Brian Newland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 97 minutes of play, Richings Park FC's Victor Boyle made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orson Parkinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Richings Park FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
