Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Grant Draper got the match started through his kick off. Larry Bayliff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Haywood in the 3rd minute of the match. If Christian Haywood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grant Draper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Lytham's zone, Graham Peyton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Linford came out of the goal and Graham Peyton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Graham Peyton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristian Linford showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Graham Peyton in the 22nd minute of the match. Lytham were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Playing Place's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jordan Kear took the corner. Garth Thornton hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Grant Draper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristian Linford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Bastow in the 36th minute of play. Glyn Woolford's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Larry Bayliff skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Grant Draper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Linford having to interfere. Graham Peyton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kristian Linford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lytham's goalkeeper Kristian Linford, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Graham Peyton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Linford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Lytham's goalkeeper Kristian Linford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graham Peyton. Kristian Linford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grant Draper in the 60th minute of play. Miles Bryden kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Playing Place was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vernon Love to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Graham Peyton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kristian Linford, 0-2. Graham Peyton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Playing Place's Grant Draper was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kristian Linford was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Grant Draper showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 82 minute of play. If Graham Peyton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Playing Place's Grant Draper in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lytham's goalie prevented a goal. Gav Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Graham Peyton might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristian Linford. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graham Peyton ran back to his position shaking his head. Graham Peyton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Graham Peyton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Playing Place's supporters rose to their feet, but Graham Peyton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Linford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the game, Graham Peyton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kristian Linford. Graham Peyton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Playing Place played a much better game than Lytham and deserved their victory. The Lytham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
