To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Kingston/New Malden's Pete Wooding got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Kingston/New Malden defense, Edward Ashton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Routledge. The Kingston/New Malden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Routledge should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Kingston/New Malden getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Thom Crtichell hit a great ball. When Chris Sheppard fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MakeMZGreatAgain's protests and gave Chris Sheppard a yellow card for diving instead. Chris Sheppard kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Oliver Lambert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caleb Moxon. MakeMZGreatAgain's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Edward Ashton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Routledge having to interfere. John Paul Dawes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Moxon having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Rupert Lock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MakeMZGreatAgain's Caleb Moxon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Verity in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pete Wooding during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MakeMZGreatAgain booed when Kingston/New Malden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Wooding didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Ian Verity got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ian Verity's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caleb Moxon was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Duff made a kick off. Edward Ashton took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robert Routledge. Robert Routledge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Robert Routledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Ashton in the 63rd minute of the match. When MakeMZGreatAgain's Edward Ashton in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Caleb Moxon made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when John Paul Dawes sent off a good shot on target. Des Murray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Robert Routledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexander Duff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Paul Dawes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Moxon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, MakeMZGreatAgain's Des Murray got a free kick in the 90th minute. Caleb Moxon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Verity, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Robert Routledge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Duff in the 97th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MakeMZGreatAgain fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kingston/New Malden had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
