Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Kris Archer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jake Floyd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conal Schofield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Floyd came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by GashisArmy's Rick Bull. But to his dismay, Rick Bull quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. GashisArmy's Alex Postolan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Archer in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GashisArmy's zone, Roger McCunnie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Postolan came out of the goal and Roger McCunnie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Roger McCunnie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GashisArmy the free kick. GashisArmy's Jay Holdsworth got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jay Holdsworth blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jake Floyd having to make a save. In the 26th minute, Rick Bull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Jay Holdsworth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Jake Floyd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th minute, Jay Holdsworth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GashisArmy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's zone, Rick Bull stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Floyd came out of the goal and Rick Bull tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The GashisArmy fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when GashisArmy's Rick Bull looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Rick Bull sped through Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jake Floyd. When Rueben Milner fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GashisArmy's protests and gave Rueben Milner a yellow card for diving instead. Rueben Milner hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Alex Postolan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from James Tomkin. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rick Bull was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rick Bull in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jake Floyd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Jake Floyd managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when GashisArmy's Jay Holdsworth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jake Floyd was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Rick Bull capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rick Bull really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. 65 minutes into the match, Jay Holdsworth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jake Floyd. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jay Holdsworth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Jake Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Snailbeach and Stiperstones United from getting a goal against them. When Jamal Boulton came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the GashisArmy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamal Boulton couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Jay Holdsworth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jake Floyd was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 75th match minute, Snailbeach and Stiperstones United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jasper Cullen to maneuver through the defense. Jake Floyd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Bull in the 79th minute of play. Rick Bull received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jake Floyd came out and tried to block the shot, but Rick Bull slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 82nd minute. Jay Holdsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jake Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of GashisArmy booed when Snailbeach and Stiperstones United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brad Osbourne didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Snailbeach and Stiperstones United's Jake Floyd got control of the ball when Jay Holdsworth tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over GashisArmy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Snailbeach and Stiperstones United throughout the match.
