Camberley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cranbrook AFC the free kick. Ronnie Stonehouse hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gareth Grayson as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harvey Hartshorn to make the kick off. Jake Bean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harvey Hartshorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gareth Grayson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rufus Mason in the 53rd minute of the match. Alastair Branston's late challenge caught a Cranbrook AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alastair Branston helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cranbrook AFC booed when Camberley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alastair Branston didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Camberley players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
