The FIVEteen United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Harvey Baldwin should have stopped the shot. After having played for 88 minutes, Jason Brooke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shirley Village's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jason Brooke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Shirley Village's Tony Martin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Brendon Beverley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, FIVEteen United's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Brooke came free, but Harvey Baldwin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Shirley Village were victorious despite being under pressure from FIVEteen United for much of the match.
