Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Osp boys's Al Sinclair started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Sean West got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wes Barone kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huey Lomas in the 9th minute of play forced Intersports fc's goalkeeper Cliff Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al Sinclair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the last second Wayne Boothroyd throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sebastian Fawell in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Cliff Tipton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Sinclair in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Lewis Milton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cliff Tipton skillfully saved the ball. Sean West recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steven Pinder during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 23 played minutes Osp boys got a freekick which was hit by Steven Pinder. Sebastian Fawell succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 34 minutes into the match, Osp boys's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Fawell came free, but Wayne Boothroyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cliff Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huey Lomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Intersports fc's Cliff Tipton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huey Lomas in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Fawell to make the kick off. After 58 minutes, Alfred Blakeley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Intersports fc and the Osp boys players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfred Blakeley kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cliff Tipton came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Osp boys's Huey Lomas. But to his dismay, Huey Lomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 64 minutes into the game, Ed Winstanley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intersports fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osp boys the free kick. When the match had been going on for 66 minutes, Osp boys's Brendon Carlisle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cliff Tipton. 70 minutes into the game, Oscar Fish was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Intersports fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Osp boys the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Osp boys's Brendon Carlisle tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Al Sinclair received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Cliff Tipton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huey Lomas got free with Cliff Tipton in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cliff Tipton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Al Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Huey Lomas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Cliff Tipton made a huge save. When Huey Lomas came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Osp boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huey Lomas couldn't finish the play. If Huey Lomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Osp boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Intersports fc.
