Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sebastian Fawell made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Laurence Brownlow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cliff Tipton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnathan Mann in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Alfred Blakeley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute Laurence Brownlow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cliff Tipton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Intersports fc got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Fish. Cliff Tipton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Brownlow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute of the match, Laurence Brownlow tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cliff Tipton saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Johnathan Mann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Tipton having to interfere. If Johnathan Mann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Sebastian Fawell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cliff Tipton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Brownlow in the 39th minute of the match. If Johnathan Mann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Lloyd Hoskins from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Cliff Tipton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Laurence Brownlow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Tipton having to interfere. If Johnathan Mann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurence Brownlow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cliff Tipton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Mann in the 52nd minute of play. Johnathan Mann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cliff Tipton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Mann, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The supporters of Redruth AFC booed when Intersports fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Fish didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Mann in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cliff Tipton saved Intersports fc from getting behind. Marcus Coote's late challenge caught a Intersports fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Coote helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Redruth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Coote to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Sebastian Fawell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intersports fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Fawell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnathan Mann struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cliff Tipton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Redruth AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Brownlow in the 83rd minute of play forced Intersports fc's goalkeeper Cliff Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurence Brownlow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cliff Tipton having to interfere. Johnathan Mann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cliff Tipton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Brownlow in the 93rd minute of play forced Intersports fc's goalkeeper Cliff Tipton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
