Ashley Bartram's late challenge caught a -GMT-Explozibil De Alba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Billie Callery to make the kick off. Frank Rush sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Trusswell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Billie Callery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Epic United's Sebastian Trusswell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Epic United from getting a goal against them. Sebastian Trusswell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lewis Potts in the 85th minute. If Anthony Bennett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute.
