Tommy Piercy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Boothroyd showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, George Beardsley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josh Naisbitt. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Boothroyd in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Piercy saved Streatham AFC from getting behind. The supporters of Streatham AFC booed when Alnwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stew Bower didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Nash might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josh Naisbitt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Owen Nash ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Streatham AFC's Tommy Piercy got control of the ball when Damion Foggarty tried to sneak it across the goal line.
