An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Billie Callery got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 14 minutes, Frank Rush made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Baker's Malcolm Haper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Pete Lambert made a precise shot to the right of Sebastian Trusswell. Epic United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. AFC Baker's Malcolm Haper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Callery in the 21st minute of play. Malcolm Haper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Callery in the 27th minute of the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
