Spectators: 7464 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 80) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thom Newlyn kicked off to start the match. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Silvester Buckle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenny Bilham having to interfere. Lenny Bilham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Eldridge in the 7th minute of play. Silvester Buckle might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lenny Bilham. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvester Buckle ran back to his position shaking his head. Liam Eldridge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Silvester Buckle made a precise shot to the right of Lenny Bilham. Everton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 29 minutes, Mark Dodgson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Everton and the Elland Road Faithful players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Everton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Dodgson to maneuver through the defense. If Silvester Buckle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Thom Newlyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lenny Bilham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liam Eldridge in the 37th minute of play. Stew Patterson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thom Newlyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bradley Dunn during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was beautiful to see Everton's Jacob Bowen in action when he in the 43rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 45 minutes into the match, Elland Road Faithful's goal looked a bit too open when Thom Newlyn came free, but Stew Patterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Elland Road Faithful's Liam Eldridge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lenny Bilham narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jacob Mallon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, Scott Hulbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thom Newlyn in the 71st minute of play forced Elland Road Faithful's goalkeeper Stew Patterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Leslie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elland Road Faithful's goalkeeper Stew Patterson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stew Patterson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thom Newlyn in the 81st minute of play. Jacob Mallon's late challenge caught a Everton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacob Mallon helped the player get up and apologised. Jacob Mallon hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Thom Newlyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Adrian Leslie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Adrian Leslie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Everton's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Leslie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stew Patterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Everton's goalkeeper Lenny Bilham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Everton's goalkeeper Lenny Bilham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvester Buckle. In the 91st minute of the match, Liam Eldridge tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lenny Bilham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Elland Road Faithful had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
