Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sly Neville got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Ivan Wallbank managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FYR of Slough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Wallbank was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th minute Sly Neville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Carey-Bertram saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Junior Chiverton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Longstaff in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Alan Longstaff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Alan Longstaff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Junior Chiverton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alan Longstaff showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Noble in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Junior Chiverton saved FYR of Slough from getting behind. After having played for 46 minutes, Alan Longstaff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timperley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Longstaff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alan Longstaff to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Liam Curtis rounded Timperley United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 59th minute Jack Noble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Junior Chiverton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. FYR of Slough's Junior Chiverton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Longstaff in the 66th minute of play. Alan Longstaff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Junior Chiverton having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Longstaff in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Junior Chiverton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liam Curtis during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FYR of Slough getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Liam Curtis hit a great ball. If Jack Noble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jack Noble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Junior Chiverton was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Liam Curtis hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Alastair Noble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Junior Chiverton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alan Longstaff came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Timperley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Longstaff couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Alastair Noble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timperley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alastair Noble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timperley United were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
