Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alfie Kennedy kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Tufnell Park booed when Ilfracombe AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Porter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Conal Rigg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tufnell Park fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Benjamin Tuck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Tufnell Park's Caleb Lancaster threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfie Kennedy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tufnell Park's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gary Gerrard in the 19th minute. Ilfracombe AFC's Kevin Gascoigne got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kevin Gascoigne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Benjamin Tuck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Croxford. Tufnell Park's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Tuck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ilfracombe AFC's Caleb Lancaster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Kennedy in the 33rd minute of play. Wayne Markinson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Tufnell Park's Alfie Kennedy got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Ilfracombe AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phillip Dalton to maneuver through the defense. Conal Rigg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Caleb Lancaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tufnell Park players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ilfracombe AFC were winning 1-2.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfie Kennedy in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caleb Lancaster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 minutes, Ruben Beevers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ilfracombe AFC and the Tufnell Park players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ilfracombe AFC's Ruben Beevers got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Conal Rigg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfie Kennedy took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caleb Lancaster. Caleb Lancaster dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Kevin Gascoigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Larry Gallacher charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Larry Gallacher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Larry Gallacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute Kevin Gascoigne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carl Croxford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Larry Gallacher kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Benjamin Tuck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilfracombe AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Tuck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Kevin Gascoigne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilfracombe AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Gascoigne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Croxford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conal Rigg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caleb Lancaster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. If Alfie Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Conal Rigg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tufnell Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Conal Rigg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caleb Lancaster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ilfracombe AFC's Matty Crawshaw got a free kick in the 89th minute. Gary Gerrard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alfie Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Caleb Lancaster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larry Gallacher hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ilfracombe AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tufnell Park.
