Knight Templars's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 36 minutes, Simon Gray made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bedford AFC's Ruben Banks tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Simon Gray came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Knight Templars fans jumped to their feet. Frank Corbridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Black in the 42nd minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bedford AFC reached it. 95 minutes into the match, Knight Templars's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Holstead came free, but Frank Corbridge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of Bedford AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Knight Templars had held the ball for most of the match.
