Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rupert Bibby made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 10 minutes, Rupert Bibby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldeburgh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Bibby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Aldeburgh FC's Antony Gavan got a free kick in the 14th minute. Stuart Bullard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute, Ritchie Routledge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stuart Bullard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darius Wilmott read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. If Ivan Dearden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Surbiton AFC's Alan Titmus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Darius Wilmott but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ritchie Routledge during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ritchie Routledge hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Ivan Dearden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Surbiton AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Dearden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Joshua Thompson fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Surbiton AFC's protests and gave Joshua Thompson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Surbiton AFC's Joshua Thompson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Stuart Bullard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ivan Dearden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes into the match, Surbiton AFC's Stuart Bullard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Darius Wilmott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Aldeburgh FC's Darius Wilmott got control of the ball when Ivan Dearden tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stuart Bullard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stuart Bullard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Ivan Dearden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Surbiton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Dearden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darius Wilmott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joshua Thompson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darius Wilmott having to interfere. Freddie Pearson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rupert Bibby in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of Aldeburgh FC booed when Surbiton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Buxton didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Surbiton AFC's Ivan Dearden in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aldeburgh FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 71st minute, Wayne Haley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Aldeburgh FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Dearden came free, but Darius Wilmott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Stuart Bullard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldeburgh FC's Darius Wilmott was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Freddie Pearson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Bibby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rupert Bibby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Freddie Pearson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Aldeburgh FC got a freekick which was hit by Ritchie Routledge. Frazer Ferdinand took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darius Wilmott. Aldeburgh FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aldeburgh FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
