Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kimpton's Ash Brent started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Blair Bass got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Blair Bass took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Philip Ruddock. Philip Ruddock dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Blair Bass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Philip Ruddock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Brent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bulphan City's Philip Ruddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ash Brent in the 20th minute of play. If Ash Brent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Philip Ruddock managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Kimpton's Blair Bass fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ash Brent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Max Nailor's late challenge caught a Bulphan City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Max Nailor helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Kimpton's Max Nailor got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ash Brent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Bass kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 34thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bulphan City's keeper Philip Ruddock was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 36 minutes, Glen Bell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bulphan City and the Kimpton players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Bulphan City got a freekick which was hit by Glen Bell. In the 38th match minute, Kimpton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Nailor to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henry Best during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kimpton! In the 43rd minute, Conal Griggs made a precise shot to the right of Carlton Reeves. Kimpton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Simon Martin made a kick off. When Josh Saunders fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kimpton's protests and gave Josh Saunders a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kimpton! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blair Bass in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Ruddock saved Bulphan City from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Matty Fordham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blair Bass might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Ruddock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blair Bass ran back to his position shaking his head. Alistair Theobald charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alistair Theobald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kimpton's goalkeeper Carlton Reeves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Philip Ruddock showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair Bass, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Bulphan City's Matty Fordham got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlton Reeves made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Stefan Atherton sent off a good shot on target. Blair Bass recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bulphan City's Philip Ruddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blair Bass in the 89th minute of play. Glen Bell kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Conal Griggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
