Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ash Brent got the match started through his kick off. Kimpton were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Ratpool FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felix Robson took the corner. The corner led Kimpton's Felix Robson to fire away a dangerous shot which Dominik Law despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kimpton were furious when Alistair Theobald was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After having played for 17 minutes, Blair Bass managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimpton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blair Bass was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the game, Rhys Cotton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ratpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kimpton the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Ratpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rhys Cotton to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Nick Blackwood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlton Reeves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Blair Bass fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Law having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Max Nailor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kimpton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Nailor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shawn Stansfield in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dominik Law, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blair Bass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlton Hitchcock kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Ratpool FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casey Warrender stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Blair Bass blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dominik Law having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ratpool FC's zone, Jez Budden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Law came out of the goal and Jez Budden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Kimpton booed when Ratpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rhys Cotton didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Kimpton got a corner. Ratpool FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Robson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Kimpton's corner Felix Robson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dominik Law quite easily take care of the ball. Jonathon England hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Blair Bass struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Dominik Law didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kimpton. Blair Bass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Blair Bass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shawn Stansfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Blair Bass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jez Budden in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominik Law prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blair Bass in the 87th minute of play forced Ratpool FC's goalkeeper Dominik Law to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Les Falkingham's late challenge caught a Kimpton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Les Falkingham helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ratpool FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Les Falkingham hit a great ball. If Blair Bass had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jez Budden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the game, Nick Blackwood lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Carlton Reeves. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ratpool FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Kimpton side.
