AFC Bedford's Rory Wilberforce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Bedford from getting a goal against them. A collision led to AFC Bedford getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jeffrey Short hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, AFC Bedford's Jasper Dickner got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Bradley Gilroy's late challenge caught a Richmond FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bradley Gilroy helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of AFC Bedford:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Richmond FC:s goal. Bradley Dingle struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rory Wilberforce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richmond FC. After 29th play minutes Lance Hedley shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Rory Wilberforce and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Richmond FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jeffrey Currie hit a great ball. Lance Hedley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rory Wilberforce having to interfere. After 58 minutes of play, Richmond FC's Lance Hedley made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rory Wilberforce was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rdth minute of the game Lance Hedley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Bedford's Rory Wilberforce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Bradley Dingle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rory Wilberforce was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Rory Wilberforce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lance Hedley in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, Richmond FC's Den Willets shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rory Wilberforce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Richmond FC reached it. Richmond FC's Jeffrey Currie pulled a muscle in his leg after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Den Bramble was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, AFC Bedford's Den Bramble got a free kick in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradley Dingle in the 83rd minute of play forced AFC Bedford's goalkeeper Rory Wilberforce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradley Dingle might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rory Wilberforce. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradley Dingle ran back to his position shaking his head. Henry Bentham blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rory Wilberforce having to make a save. If Henry Bentham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Rowe hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Richmond FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
