Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Kieran Rothery made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pete Milton in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lawrence Howlett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ely's Lawrence Howlett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Al Humphreys in the 7th minute of play. Entrerrios Fluenca's Keanu Pitman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kieran Rothery in the 9th minute of play. Robbie Prendergast kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kris Renner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Keanu Pitman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute, Ely's Kieran Rothery dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Kris Renner in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keanu Pitman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kris Renner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ely booed when Entrerrios Fluenca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Laverick didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Ely's Jez Alsford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keanu Pitman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Darryl Holdcroft was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Ely. Pete Nicholson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Keanu Pitman. 2-1. With a little luck, Entrerrios Fluenca's Keanu Pitman got control of the ball when Kris Renner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Keanu Pitman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kieran Rothery showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 41 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

The wind increased when Al Humphreys made the kick off in the second half. If Kris Renner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kieran Rothery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes, Kieran Rothery made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Entrerrios Fluenca's Keanu Pitman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kieran Rothery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keanu Pitman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ely's Denny Kirkpatrick got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Al Humphreys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kris Renner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keanu Pitman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kris Renner, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Denny Kirkpatrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Keanu Pitman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Kieran Rothery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keanu Pitman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Entrerrios Fluenca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chip Messenger to maneuver through the defense. Kris Renner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Keanu Pitman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kris Renner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
