Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jamie Younger started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Jamie Younger made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Staveley AFC's Jerome Barber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 8th minute, Jamie Younger made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Barber. Staveley AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 18 minutes into the game, Julian Bonham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Staveley AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brigade the free kick. After a rather tough play, Staveley AFC's Julian Bonham got a free kick in the 18th minute. Harvey Medlin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Jamie Younger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staveley AFC's Jerome Barber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ted Peakman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Seth Oates made a huge save. Jerome Barber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Younger in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell John Allwright to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Staveley AFC's Ted Peakman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Seth Oates narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jake Lilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Jamie Younger sped through Staveley AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerome Barber. When Jake Lilley came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Brigade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jake Lilley couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jamie Younger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerome Barber. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. Jake Lilley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Purkiss took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerome Barber. Staveley AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 77th minute, Ross William Russell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seth Oates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Peakman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sebastian Lister fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brigade's protests and gave Sebastian Lister a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Staveley AFC booed when Brigade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Seth Oates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Allwright, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Jake Lilley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Staveley AFC's Jerome Barber got control of the ball when Jake Lilley tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brigade eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
